Most recently, Roger was the Director of Quality Engineering at Sycamore Networks, Inc. responsible for directing product system quality assurance (SQA) and technical publications (TPUBS) across a full portfolio of 26 core and access intelligent bandwidth management solutions for fixed line and mobile network operators worldwide. He contributed to a one-year 200% business revenue growth. He integrated, recruited, and built a multi-disciplined team of 45+ professional technical staff and 5 direct reports across locations in three states. Eight new product platforms were introduced, including the world's first terabit optical switch. He contributed to the successful establishment of a new 70+ staffed Shanghai , China engineering development center, led the outsourcing of a network management system to a partner in Jaipur , India , and worked OEM development with three global vendors.

Roger has an M.S. with highest honors from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, MA, and a B.E. with highest honors from Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ. Additionally, he earned a Project Management Capstone Certificate, a Master's Certificate in Project Management, and a Master's Certificate in Leadership.
